Dean Mayo Moran marked the International Day for Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd with a visit to Queen's Park and a meeting with stakeholders in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) review. She met with and attended a speech given by Ontario's Minister of Economic Development, Trade & Employment, Dr. Eric Hoskins, who is the minister responsible for the AODA review. Earlier this fall, the Ontario government appointend the dean to lead this review. The Act governs the accessibility standards for customer service, information and communications, employment, transportation and the design of public spaces. It became law in 2005, and its first review was completed in 2010.
