Credit/No Credit (CR/NCR) grades on the 2019-2020 academic record due to COVID-19

Updated August 16, 2021

Prospective applicants seeking entry into the JD First-Year

  • We will accept applications to the JD program with the usual eligibility requirements, application procedures and deadlines in place.

  • We consider an academic course with a credit (CR) grade to be a successfully completed course.  A CR grade has no numerical value and so it cannot be used in a GPA calculation. Nevertheless, we are confident in our ability to assess the strength of an applicant’s academic record whenever a traditional GPA cannot be calculated.

  • Our assessment of applications will remain holistic. It is based on the overall strength of an applicant's post-secondary academic record, LSAT results, and all the other information provided in the application file. Please rest assured that we will not hold CR grades against an applicant in our review.
