The University of Toronto Faculty of Law has been selected one of the Top 5 law schools in the world by online post-secondary resource site BrainTrack.com.

These “five ‘best of the best’ law schools,” have an exceptional mix of “schooling, cachet, connections, and career potential.”

The U of T Faculty of Law is in excellent company, listed with Yale, Heidelberg, Oxford/Cambridge and Harvard law schools.

“We believe in what we do, and are proud of the strengths of our law school: outstanding faculty, students and alumni,” says Dean Mayo Moran, an SJD 1999 alumna of the law school.

BrainTrack says it considered input from "various world governments, ministries of education and legal scholars" in creating the ranking, which lists the law schools in no particular order.

When discussing why U of T Law belongs with the best of the best, BrainTrack.com cites Macleans’ professional schools ranking, noting that in every year since that ranking began the University of Toronto Faculty of Law has placed number one.

BrainTrack also points to U of T Law’s outstanding alumni which include leaders in top positions in private practice, government, business, scholarship and faculty at Ivy League institutions.
