Mandate for Public Interest Law (MAPIL)

MAPIL (Mandate for Public Interest Law) is a group of students working to promote public interest law and progressive policy in the law school, in the city and across Canada. We care about critical approaches to jurisprudence, activist and alternative careers at the bar and community-focused projects within the law school itself. From organizing SPINLaw, a national public interest law student conference, to fostering connections between progressive law students through "Drinks & Dissent" nights, MAPIL students don't just work with the law they work to promote justice with the law.
