As part of its commitment under the "Privacy and Access to Genetic Research Data" research project funded by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Professors Trudo Lemmens and Lisa Austin hosted a workshop on privacy and biobanking on March 13, 2009 which brought together experts in privacy and access to information, research ethics and genetics. A report on the workshop proceedings has been prepared by the project team and can be downloaded below.
