The Law Times reports, "Lenczner Slaght, in collaboration with the University of Toronto Law Faculty, is expanding its data-driven decision-making program to include a publicly available database covering over 60 years of Supreme Court of Canada decisions. This expansion aims to provide a resource for people interested in the top court, including academics, practising lawyers, law students and legal technologists."

A generous gift from University of Toronto alumni Maureen Kempston Darkes (BA 1970 Vic, JD 1973, Hon. LLD 1996) and Lawrence Darkes (BA 1970, JD 1973) will support future generations of JD students at the Faculty of Law.

The $1-million gift will endow both bursaries and fellowships.
