For their outstanding leadership and commitment to academic excellence, Florence Ashley has received the 2022 Adel S. Sedra Distinguished Graduate Award. The Award includes a $25,000 fellowship to support their graduate research.

The Hon. Michael J. Moldaver (BA UC 1968, LLB 1971, Hon. LLD 2019), Justice of the Supreme Court of Canadahas announced his retirement from the bench this September. On Dec. 23 Justice Moldaver will turn 75, the mandatory retirement age for Supreme Court judges.
