From the bar to the bench, more than 40 law school volunteers joined us for breakfast June 29, 2010, for a celebration of their contribution to the school.

The group represented a small portion of the many volunteers who give their time and expertise to our students.

In fact, said Dean Mayo Moran, many students have told her some of their best experiences at the Faculty of Law were with the judges, practitioners and adjuncts who provide career mentorship, coach mooters, and teach practice-oriented courses.

“Your volunteer work contributes to our reputation as one of Canada’s finest law schools,” said Moran, in a sunny Rowell Room.

The get-together, now an annual event, was a chance for colleagues to catch up and share ideas on giving back to the law school.

And for this, we thank you.
