For this, she was recognized with the John Willis & Gina Caldarelli Memorial Prize for School Spirit.

Ioana Dragalin continued her studies at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law, after completing a HBSc (High Distinction) in Human Biology and Ethics, Society & Law at U of T. Ioana will be clerking at the Brampton Superior Court of Justice and hopes to pursue a career in criminal law as a Crown prosecutor.

At home, online and with humour, U of T’s Class of 2020 celebrate a virtual convocation

With social media, Zoom calls and signs planted on front lawns and draped from apartment balconies, there was no shortage of well-wishing for the University of Toronto’s class of 2020 – the first in the university’s 193 years to celebrate convocation remotely.

Some crafty graduates set the stage for their at-home convocation with cardboard props and makeshift gowns. Others left a running commentary of congratulatory messages on a chat window that accompanied the virtual event.

Law Foundation of Ontario funds U of T Law's Public Legal Education for Vulnerable Investors

The Law Foundation of Ontario has invested more than $300K towards four projects that aim to increase the knowledge and protection of investors, in particular vulnerable investors. The grants were made from the society's 2019 Investor Rights Call for Applications, funded through their national Access to Justice Fund (ATJF).
