Celeste Poltak, B.A. (Queen's) 1994, L.L.B. (University of Calgary) 1999, L.L.M. (London School of Economics) 2001, was called to the Bars of Alberta in 2000 and Ontario in 2002. Celeste is a Partner at Koskie Minsky LLP in Toronto. She has practiced on the plaintiff's side of class proceedings for over twenty years, specializing primarily in Indigenous, institutional abuse and Crown liability actions. Celeste was a Member of the Ontario Law Commission's Expert Advisory Panel on Class Proceedings and was a co-author of Class Actions in Canada: Cases, Notes & Materials (Emond, 2018). She has been consistently recognized by Lexpert, Benchmark Canada and Chambers ranked as a leading practitioner in class proceeding.
