Intro to Business Law

We will be hosting a panel with members of Bay Street firms. They will be talking about their experiences while working in the world of business law.

BLSxMintz Lunch and Learn

Mintz is a firm that has just opened an office in Toronto. The firm is hoping to engage and meet with students. The goal of the event is to teach students about the world of business law and the unique market position of Mintz.

How is climate change affecting the law, and the role of law in society?

On March 2 & 3, the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law, aims to broaden legal and policy discussions and explore how climate change is impacting law, and the legal profession at Law in a Changing World: The Climate Crisis.

New York Panel

This panel will provide students an opportunity to hear from New York-based U of T grads with a wide range of experience. Come hear about the transition from Toronto to New York, what working life is like there, and how you can break into the scene. The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A period where you can ask any questions you have yourself.

Introduction to Business Law Panel

The Business Law Society is excited to present our first event of the year: Introduction to Business Law Panel! This event will provide students with a broad overview of what the different areas of business law are by hearing from practicing lawyers from a wide range of careers. It will consist of a moderated panel that will be followed by a Q&A session so that attendees will have the opportunity to gain further perspective into what careers in business law look like.
