Baby Gale mooters

U of T Law wins overall team!

Led annually by Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP, the Cassels Cup Moot, known also as the "Baby Gale," is a competitive criminal/constitutional law moot exclusively for first-year students from U of T's Faculty of Law and Osgoode Hall Law School. 

Held at the Ontario Court of Appeal on Saturday, March 28, U of T Law achieved victory, winning overall team, sweeping the oralist award category: 

  • First place oralist: Evan Tanovich
  • Second place oralist: Katie Martin
  • Third place oralist: Rehana Lalani

Teammates Rehana Lalani and Evan Tanovich were also named first place respondent team

The team was coached by students Sarah Zaitlin (2L), Humza Khan (2L), Akash Jain (2L) and Henry Mann (3L).
