JD Student in library

UofT Law appreciates your interest in our JD program

We welcome the opportunity to reach out and visit a variety of audiences including:

  • undergraduate student societies and associations
  • university career counsellors
  • academic advisors
  • community/cultural service agencies and assocations
  • legal assocations

Session Features

We look forward to delivering in-person presentations, at which our representative(s) will typically spend an hour providing a comprehensive look at our JD admissions, which may include:
  • an overview of the UofT JD program, student experience and becoming a lawyer
  • academic and non-academic admission requirements
  • the selection process
  • financing your education
  • the application process and timeline
Due to educational commitments, current JD students will likely be available only at admission events hosted by UofT Law.

Hosting Recommendations

For a richer delivery of information, and to aid with questions and answers, it is extremely helpful to show where the information resources and details are online. It is ideal if hosts are able to arrange for:
  • a computer with high-speed access to the internet preferably, and/or powerpoint
  • a projector and screen
  • a microphone/speakers, if appropriate for the size of room
