Held in Toronto from January 30 to February 1, the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot is an annual competitive moot that focuses on an area of law where issues of equity and diversity arise. This year, the moot addressed the legal standard for racial profiling, examining whether it needs to be re-evaluated and potentially modified to better align with modern understandings of social context and address issues with the existing framework.

We are delighted to announce that U of T Law received the Top School Award at the moot. The U of T Law team consisted of Natallie Chow (2L), Zeru Hu (2L), Matthew Chasmar (2L) and Naxi Aze (3L).

A special thank you to coaches Solomon McKenzie (JD 2019), Assistant Dean Ada Maxwell-Alleyne, Mahnoor Noor (3L) and Samir Reynolds (JD MPP 2025).
