The Callaghan Memorial Moot, named in memory of former Chief Justice of the Ontario Court (General Division), Frank W. Callaghan, is a University of Toronto Faculty of Law moot for 16 students on a topic of criminal or constitutional law.

Third-year JD student coaches Yiwei Bian, Alison Borch and Zachary Train are pleased to share their team, Callaghan Moot Team 4, second-year JD students Delaney Cullin, Katherine Getler, Alana Kiteley and Sharon Liyento, received the following awards:

  • Alana Kiteley and Sharon Liyento (Appellant) won the moot overall as well as, Best Appellant Team, and Best Appellant Factum.
  • Katherine Getler and Delaney Cullin (Respondent) won Best Respondent Team and Best Respondent Factum.
  • Katherine Getler won Top Oralist.
  • Sharon Liyento won Runner-Up Top Oralist.
