Geoff R. Hall, B.A. (McGill; Gold Medallist) 1987, M.A. (Toronto) 1988, LL.B. (Toronto; Silver Medallist) 1991, LL.M. (Harvard) 1996, called to the Bar of Ontario 1993. Mr. Hall clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada in 1991-92 and then joined McCarthy Tétrault LLP, where he is currently a partner in the Toronto litigation group. He has a broad litigation practice but with a significant focus on commercial disputes, in particular contractual matters. He is the author of Canadian Contractual Interpretation Law (LexisNexis Canada, fourth edition 2020), which has been cited numerous times by Canadian courts including the Supreme Court of Canada.
