What do you do when your company suffers a data breach? How do you resolve the problem, respond to your customers, and ensure that you don't experience a repeat incident in the future? This simulation will provide you with the opportunity to gain real world practical experience through engaging with a case study based on actual privacy breaches that have occurred in multinational companies.

The Future of Law Lab Case Simulation sessions allow students to tackle a variety of real world problems dealing with law, business strategy, technology, public relations, marketing, and policy. Each simulation is structured as a holistic experience that investigates how legal problems affect the entirety of business operations. Whether you intend to work at a firm, in-house, government, or providing legal advice in any capacity, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your substantive skillset.

This Privacy Breach Simulation is a two-hour session that begins with an introduction to privacy law that will provide you with the tools needed to complete the case, drops you into the role of a legal department in a fictional organization, and finishes with a debrief about the key takeaways and transferable skills that you can take into the legal profession.

Students of all years and backgrounds are invited to take part in the simulation. Given the interactive nature of the session, spaces will be limited.
